This lava tube was maybe the coolest thing we saw. Just a couple of days ago* it was filled with red-hot magma.

J+K vs. the volcano

We hopped on over to the "big" island for a little while to explore all things destructive, and naturally we rented a house in the tsunami zone just downslope of the volcano. What could go wrong?

With all the spectacular natural lighting, and the picture-postcard-perfect scenes at every turn, I find myself pining for a much better camera, but these will have to do for now.
