J+K vs. the volcano
We hopped on over to the "big" island for a little while to explore all things destructive, and naturally we rented a house in the tsunami zone just downslope of the volcano. What could go wrong?
With all the spectacular natural lighting, and the picture-postcard-perfect scenes at every turn, I find myself pining for a much better camera, but these will have to do for now.

It looks like the man on the sign is running into the oncoming wave. That can't be right. Or is that "island-style"?
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's whack. I guess he's hoping to surf that. (No joke, there's a story about a guy surfing a tsunami wave in Hilo back in the 1860's).
